PERU: The highest mountain from Peru - Expedition Nevado Huascaran Sur (6768 m)
Huascarán is the highest mountain in Peru, and also the highest mountain in the tropics. Climbing Huascaran is the goal for many climbers who come to South America. Although Huascaran is not technically difficult, due to its high altitude, it is considered a difficult mountain to summit. Good physical condition and acclimatization is required before attempting the climb.

Tour program:

Day 1 - 15.07.2015: Huaraz - Huascarán: drive via Mancos to Musho, Trekking to Base Camp (4250 m).
Day 2 - 16.07.2015: Base Camp, Start climbing Huascarán ? High Campo 1 (5200 m).
Day 3 - 17.07.2015: High Camp 1 - Climb Huascarán - High Camp 2/Garganta (5950 m).
Day 4 - 18.07.2015: High Camp 2/Garganta - Huascarán Sur (6768 m); back to High Camp 2.
Day 5 - 19.07.2015: Descent High Camp II - Base Camp (4250 m)
Day 6 - 20.07.2015: Base Camp - Trekking Down to Musho - Drive to Huaraz.
